Henri and his crew first learned about our self-sufficient energy supply solutions at a boat show in Berlin. However, due to the unique design of their boat – a double-ended hull without a suitable railing section – our railing module was not an option.
However, with the combination of a hydrogenerator during the journey and our 3M-FLINsail in the mast , the energy supply is now optimally secured.
At the time of his message, the state of charge (SoC) was at 93% , even though it had rained continuously the previous day and they had been running their water purification system since morning. A significant difference compared to the time before FLINsail, according to Henri!
Although he was initially unsure about the costs and the expected installation effort, he is now convinced: "It was absolutely worth it."

Retrospective - the Atlantic crossing
During dinner on another boat, FLINsail was also discussed as a possible solution. We're delighted that the enthusiasm is spreading!
