When solar modules suddenly stop performing as expected, it's a frustrating issue for many new solar customers. Often, the reason lies in hidden cell fractures, which can occur in flexible solar modules even with minor stresses.
That's why we advise against cheap solar panels on the market. These fractures are not visible to the naked eye but can be detected with a special procedure called an electroluminescence test. In this video, we show you how quickly such cell fractures can occur – thanks to our electroluminescence test bench, which makes precisely this problem visible.
But we have a solution: Our new solar modules are equipped with an innovative lamination technique that integrates two special composite layers. These layers provide even better protection for the cells against vibrations and prevent cell fractures, without compromising the flexibility of the modules.
